## Product facts

- Free editor: unlimited watermark-free MP4 up to 720p, animated GIF, and AVIF still export. No account or timed trial.
- Pro adds 1080p–4K video, compact animated WebP, and SVG/Lottie for graphics-only compositions. Direct Pro is $4.99 monthly, $39.99 yearly, or $79.99 lifetime.
- Recordings, projects, editing, Apple Speech transcription, and export are local by default.
- A second app is recorded in the same take as B-roll. It stays editable video, not a screenshot.
- Smart Zoom and Follow Cursor remain editable after recording.
- Caption max words recut the track without re-transcribing.
- There is no pause during capture. Stop, then record a new take if you need a break.
- USB iPhone or iPad capture, a global stop-recording shortcut, and the most complete click and typing sounds are in the Direct download. The Mac App Store build may hide those helpers.
- Direct Polar Pro and Mac App Store Pro are separate licenses. Both open the same `.motionary` files. You cannot run both editions at once.
- Optional ElevenLabs (BYOK) and other cloud tools send data only when you paste a key. Default captions stay on-device Apple Speech.
- SVG and Lottie export graphics (shapes, titles, icons, gradients), not a vector of the screen recording.
- Person background removal is not in the current app. Use a Circle or Rounded camera crop.

## Compared with typical screen recorders

MoreFrame is for finishing the video on the Mac: second window as B-roll, a real timeline, compounds, SVG/Lottie, and caption packing. It does not host a cloud watch page or team workspace.
