Can I try the editor before buying?

Yes. Recording and the complete editor are free. Export unlimited watermark-free MP4 up to 720p, animated GIF, and AVIF stills. Upgrade for higher-resolution video, animated WebP, SVG, or Lottie.

Which web image formats can I export?

Animated GIF and AVIF still export are free. Pro adds animated WebP for smaller modern web animations. AVIF saves the current frame as a still image.

Do Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime unlock different features?

No. All three unlock the same Pro export features. Monthly and Yearly are recurring subscriptions. Lifetime is a one-time purchase for Direct MoreFrame Pro.

Which plan should I choose?

Choose Monthly for short-term flexibility, Yearly if you expect to use Pro throughout the year, or Lifetime if you prefer one payment instead of a subscription.

How many Macs can use my Direct license?

Up to three Macs. You can deactivate old instances through Polar when you move to another machine.

Will a Direct purchase unlock the Mac App Store edition?

No. Direct uses a Polar license, while the Mac App Store uses Apple’s purchase system. The licenses do not transfer, although both editions open the same .motionary projects.

Where do I manage, cancel, or request a refund?

Manage Direct subscriptions, invoices, and license keys in the Polar customer portal. Polar handles Direct payment and refund requests. For a Mac App Store purchase, use your Apple account and Apple’s Report a Problem process.
